They have great specials for the rolls! Must check it out if you like sushi. Now, I say it's great sushi for Playa del Carmen. Please do not compare it to sushi you may have had in Los Angeles or San Francisco... We love coming...here with our kids...
Amazing sushi, 2 x 1 promotion on Monday and Wednesday! can not beat it. big staff too, we go 2 times a week in the rule!
The sushi was great; we had one of the best sushi we've ever eaten. there was a special sushi with fried tuna, the qas amazing.
OK, I’ll admit it—I mainly come here because of their amazing two-for-one sushi roll specials on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. On those nights a good portion of their huge roll menu is up for choosing (you pay for the more expensive one and the cheaper...one is free, or you can just get two orders of the same roll, but who would do that? The sushi is good and pretty authentic—it won’t be the best you’ve ever had in your life, but it’s well made, beautifully presented, tastes good and fits the bill really nicely when you need that sushi fix NOW! For me that happens all too often, so it’s great to have this place nearby! They have attempted to Aztec-ize the names of the rolls—“tlan” in the Nahuatl language means “place”, so Sushitlán would translate as the home of sushi. They’ve named all their rolls with different Aztec names that are pretty impossible to pronounce coming from English, so don’t worry if you butcher the names! Service is unfailingly great and friendly, and it’s a good vantage point to watch the ebb and flow of Fifth Avenue foot traffic.
