I say event and experience because it was so much more than an evening meal. eating was amazing as well as the tequila tasting, but the culture, history and performances were phenomenal. this group is really aimed at telling the Maya story and bringing it to another level. that will be something we do every time we come back. they start from which a welcome cocktail in the lobby then have a torchlight ceremony over the water, then they go to the Haab dinner. the various tequilas are on the display. After 7 curses and various tequilas/wine tasting we have roasted marshmallows and experienced another performance. it must.
The most amazing experience of all time! is how to see the xcaret nightshow, but private, super personalized and with the most delicious maya and region eating there! all 7 dinner classes were delicious! and if you are a fan of tequila and mezcal, you will love it even more, as everyone is paired with a shot. no fear, they also offer wee and beer if they are looking for other options. the dancers and the layers of henry our host were incredible. emilio our waiter was attentive and we never had an empty glass or a plate. special thanks to the dancers for the creation of this experience, and to farando the baked chef who came to check us during dinner and dessert. it is recommended 100% do not miss!
This is definitiw a must during the stay in the banyan tree. While the gourmet dinner is an integral part of the experience, it is just a piece of the entire cultural experience. along with the traditional walk to haab, accompanied by Mayan warriors and...Dancers, the intimate jungle atmosphere and the detailed explanation of food preparation, the evening will be unforgettable forever. our emcee daniel has made an amazing job while we are through dinner with his personal strata and cultural explanations, while all the diners feel comfortable and home. haab is just as much about eating and tasting Tequila/Mezcal as it is about learning and experiencing the old Maya culture. I am always grateful for the exquisite and unique experience.
The place has beautiful setting with outdoor and indoor options . The food is tasty and rich. in some evening they do buffets m events , live stations and BBQ which adds to the experience. The breakfast in the morning is to die for ! one of the Best ever!
Esta opinión es de cuando Cello se llamaba Tamarind. El restaurante es elegante, acogedor y moderno sin ser presuntuoso. Esta en una terraza techada, por lo que se siente un ambiente relajado, aunque en épocas de calor quizás no sea tan agradable.El servicio de lo mejor y la comida es excelsa. La chef Sarahi Ponce nos preparó un menú de Degustación que esta al nivel de restaurantes catalogados con estrellas Michelin. El menú consistió en una Burrata de Mozarella, un Tiaglatelle, un Filete Prime acompañado de Gnocchi, un risotto de Camarón y Langosta, una Crema de Cebolla sensacional. y un Souffle de Pistache y Chocolate. Todos los platos increíbles, no hay a cual irle. Si tuviera que elegir, sería el gnocchi, el risotto y la crema de Cebolla.Muchas Felicidades Sarahi, super Chef!
