The Pitted Date - Playa del Carmen

I’ve eaten here at Pitted Date before, this trip I have to say they have gone downhill. First of all, the AC doesn’t work they do not seem to be in a hurry to fix it. I asked. So we’re sitting outside now. It’s obviously MORE hot but inside is way hotter with no air flow. How are people supposed to enjoy a meal when they are sweating their life away? Now that we’re sitting outside uncomfortable, I don’t even think we’re gonna eat here. Service is shot to hell. No functioning air conditioning. the vibe is just off. Disappointment. It used to be so much better here.

I have bren to Playa del Carmen on october 9th to 10th and just tried my luck and showed up at the pitted date at 9am. Luckly the where allready open and I had the chance to try on of their delicious meals. They mentioned that they have reopened just two days ago and that they are serving a bit if a smaller menu (see fotos) than usual. Anyways, the selection is still well deversified and it was hard for my to choose. I went with the creoa de espinacha and it was delicious! I had a capoucino with soy milk and a juice with it and I was happy with eveything. The service was friendly, helpful an fast. The location is very nice and stylish. There are seating options in and outside. Go and try it! It is absolutly worth it!

An amazing space and an amazing staff. The food was fresh and beautiful.
