Trujillos - Playa del Carmen

I wanted this place to be exceptional. came with a group of eight with a reservation. we sat immediately on a cool table from the bar. great mood, great atmosphere. service was not bad, but also not super attentive. that's okay, we can...adapt mentioned our waiter when we ordered the ding "family style" to be served. we did not notice this too much at the time. Apparently, family style means that the escapes appear when the kitchen ends them or feels like they make. I don't think someone came dinner to the same time as any other and a court (salmon, can't be that difficult) took well over an hour. I think the court was completely forgotten until we demanded it. to be fair, we did not pay for it after a gentle complain. if they are two or maybe four, they give him a shot. eating is good, and the mood is cool. If they are a bigger party, I can't recommend it to them.

My wife and I are from nyc and this bar program rivals the best bars in our neck of the forest, from and large the best cocktails in playa del carmen. we went to the beginning of the night and had a chance to chat...up muffin, the bar manager, the creativity and passion for cocktail design is clearly in the genie drinks on the menu. shoutout also to our barkeeper ricardo, who recommended the best mezcal cocktail of all time (the tortuga). that's all on the food that's wood-fired magic. do not sleep at this place when they are in the city, even at night.

Fantastic atmosphere. The food was excellent — especially the Caribbean Chicken. Great mixology. Loved the Mezcal cocktails. Great, attentive service. What more can you want?Highly recommend.

We keep coming back because the cocktails are a work of art, and the food is always good. Cristian, one of the bartenders, is always attentive and makes us feel at home.
