Rancho Cielo Alto - Playa Hermosa

Unbelievable dinner. The place is beautiful. All the food is “made with love”. Ingredients are grown on the ranch and have health benefits. The owner lovingly explains each course and they all look beautiful! We will go back!!!!!

When we arrived (you need 4 wheel drive) we were greeted by chef/owner Jasmine. She loves what she does and it shows. She is delightful. Her food is incredible. The dinner is at 5:00, but you want it to start early so you can enjoy the stunning view in daylight (also helps with finding the restaurant use the wase app). This was our favorite restaurant, you do not want to miss it!

Jasmine’s incredible restaurant and loving personality made the evening so memorable. The view is incredible and the food was the best we had the entire trip in Costa Rica. Everything is made FRESH from her farm and created right in front of you. You can taste the love in her food. Our kids are teenagers, and they absolutely loved everything they ate. We will definitely go back again!! Worth the drive up the mountain!

Jasmine hosted us in beautiful setting. It was very interesting to learn about her jungle garden. We will return to enjoy once again.

The restaurant has an outstanding vista hovering over the Pacific Ocean. The sunset was magnificent as Toucans flew by and Macaws called out The atmosphere, plating, decor, staff all 5 star!The best meal, service and ambience I have ever had. We are home now and no one wants to brush their teeth as the indescribable taste lingers on. We will be back!! Don't miss this amazing culinary experience and the hospitality of this wonderful family. (The road requires 4WD as many ruts and turns and, at night, they can be tricky)
