Both times were with a large party and the service was more than acceptable for dealing with that many people. I got the fajitas santa fe with the house sauce, very very good. The chicken maybe was a bit dry but nothing worth crying about, the steak was a standout in it.
We enjoyed live music by Danny Torriente on Friday and Saturday. The seating was fun, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent! We might not have decided to walk in just based on the exterior late at night, but we’re so glad we did! We will definitely be returning.
The food lacked variety and flavor. The salsa, meat, and chips were all quite bland, which was really disappointing. The only highlight was the chicken in my son's tacos; it was well-seasoned and juicy.
You can tell the food is going to be delicious when you notice you're the only group of white patrons in the restaurant.
The food is authentic. The service is friendly. The atmosphere is like being in a really big old style Mexican restaurant. It reminds me of the place my dad took me when I was a kid living in Southern California. I 'm always looking for real Latino food. Most people in Utah can 't handle it or understand it, so I try to find places where there aren 't gringos. (Like me) I can 't handle the heat like when I was young and they have all levels. This is one of my favorites for a fun sit down dinner. And all this for $10? Yes. Amazing
