We had reservations for 6:15 on a Friday night and ended up waiting nearly an hour to be seated. We were told it was because the kitchen got behind. When we finally sat down we noticed there were maybe 7 other tables in the dining area, total. It is clear that they're grossly understaffed in both serving staff and kitchen staff. We ordered our food as soon as we sat down and even that took 30 min for the appetizers to come out. The pretzel bites were greasy and not very soft but we were so hungry by the time it hit our table it didn't really matter that much. My burger had good flavor but there was no sauce of any kind on it (no mayo, nothing) so it was rather dry. If it had a little sauce on it it would have been awesome. My french fries came out stone cold so we asked for new ones, which came out hot and were really good. My husband ordered the sausage and thought it was alright, wouldn't order again. Also my husband said the website mentioned there was live music the night we went, but there wasn't any of that, either. I think if things were running smoothly I would consider coming back, but honestly we were put off by one thing after another and that's really tainted our opinion of the place.
It was a longer wait than we had hoped and just not great service. We waited 10 minutes for refills and one of our appetizers did not come til we had our main entree for 5 minutes. It falls in the category of... go there once just for the experience but not a second pretty pricy for the serving size too... may as well just buy food in the park.
Excellent food however it took nearly an hour for our meals to arrive. Setting was a bit odd there is a theme park adjacent to the restaurant so several fellow diners were in costume.
Excellent food and service despite how busy they were. I loved it and can’t wait to go again. It’s a great place.
It was fun once, but I was greatly disappointed with my shepherds pie.
