I was told It was their double queen room......first red flag As online booking showed single kings available. price advertised online 70$, or 90 tax included... price paid 116, and likely 150 after fees. online website said rooms available and I could book online, I should have, as no one here cares What online availability and prices are. also no light bulbs in my lights, no usb charger outlet, and a comforting slight smell of mildew to fall asleep. If you're just driving through and don't want to sleep in your vehicle, this place will do, anything else just spend the money somewhere else.
I stayed at this hotel years ago and it was nice. This hotel is now in major need of a remodel. Our room smells musty and the beds are terrible. The hotel is just run down now. The price and location are good.
Our room was not clean. The couch/bed had dirty sheets. Night staff was very rude when asked for pillow and blanket. Breakfast only had one choice. The pool was closed which that's why we booked here. Only good thing about this hotel was the morning staff were amazing. Our friend said they found a huge cockroach and we're not able to sleep the rest of the night.NOT a family friendly place at all.
We had the worst couple of stays here the second week of September. The first night the guest next door kept their TV on until 1:30am. Couldn't get help from the manager. We were back on Saturday the tenth for a one week stay which we have done for the last ten years. On our last night, we were awakened by the manager who let us know that we were not parked inside the lines of the parking place, oops! Has to get dressed and park the car someplace. Too bad the manager didn't go have all the other guests move their cars that were parked improperly..:after all these years, this place has deteriorated badly... it needs a complete facelift and a kinder manager. We certainly could never recommend it. I also will do all I can to make sure this is not the host hotel for the Breeders Halter Futurity ever again.
King suite with pull out sofa and bunk beds. The bunk beds were in their own closed in room with window tv bean bag and a heater. Staff was friendly and very relaxed in presentation. The room was clean enough to just get by. There was a stain on the covered part of the comforter, dried coffee on the bathroom counter, and a red stain on the toilet seat that didnt wipe away... my three year old and mother in law enjoyed the pool. Breakfast had the usual baked goods of bread muffins, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffle machine, ect...they had a event room that hosted a childs birthday party while we were there. Overall satisfied with our stay. Fairly priced.
