Pleasantville Diner

The food was outstanding! It's a charming little place, and the service was superb. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, and the bread was the best I've ever had! We're just passing through, but if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will certainly come back for a meal. Food: 5/5

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They charge you for items and then fail to deliver half of your meal. When you bring this to their attention, they refuse to provide the missing items. My first experience was fine, but during my second visit, I received none of my order. They completely refused to fix the issue. The food was poorly put together, resembling something you might give to a dog. Overall, I would give it a 2/5.

I feel really bad because my server was so nice.... but the Peasantville burger I ordered was disgusting. Zero flavor, fries had no salt, and the sauce they use is all heat with no taste. It was only $12 however, so as a comparison to other local spots its affordable.Food: 1/5

A couple of nice things first; the server got all our orders right, portion sizes were good, menu has lots of options.BUT, that was the slowest service I have ever experienced at a diner. Like, over 20 minutes to come back with coffee. And the place was almost empty, maybe three other tables. And when we did get our food it was kind of bland even by diner standards and didn't seem like any effort went into it for the length of time it took. Just enough spice to turn home fries orange but not affect taste and things like that.Maybe we caught them on a bad day. Couldn't recommend the place in good conscience.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.
