Unfortunately, the Pförtnerhaus has not opened yet.
Better half is in pay and bread at the castle owner and was allowed to travel to Plöner Schloss until two years ago for training from NRW. When the weather god on the west coast of Schleswig Holstein didn't think so well, we actually wanted to go to Kiel. But there the weather became even better and so out of the rig we changed our plan and drove to Plön. There, the sun seemed to be in the dark. I was there for the first time and only knew the place from photos. The castle itself determines the cityscape and it can only be visited at certain times. If you want to see Plön, you can use one of the public parking spaces at the foot of the castle. The castle itself and also the Pförtnerhaus are only within walking distance. There is the right hand of the castle coming from the city, a moderate rise. Left hand leads a steep path with very smooth!!!! Headstone plaster on Schlossberg. If you take him, you'll get to the Pförtnerhaus right away. The view from the castle terrace where the restaurant is located, across the Lake Plön is a dream. The place itself is quite small and has few places inside but fine and noble. The prices are not excessively high and the staff is well trained. We decided to spend the day on coffee and cake and took place on the terrace. Nice little flower on the table and view of the castle and lake. Since the castle owner, who is also the owner of the Pförtnerhaus, places value on organic quality, this was also noticeable in the dishes. Also the employees in the castle are enrolled with organic food when they are there for training . But it's just on the edge. The apple cake very delicious and quite large pieces. Luckily we dispensed with cream. The portion on the cake at the side table is quite lush. Coffee and tea also of very good quality. Often unloved surprises are experienced in organic products. Here fortunately not. If you are nearby, you can visit the Pförtnerhaus. Price/ performance and ambience. Full stars because in my eyes everything is more than perfect. I'm still thinking about the view.
