Whatever but at 5.60 lv for a small bowl (come on) and the Dahl was incredibly bland. Maybe I'm fussy coming from Melbourne but this was a massive disappointment. Maybe try some of the other dishes I mean 5.60 to ~14 lv was what the dishes varied and having come accustomed to Eastern Europe prices this is a major rip off to me but for other tourists you may not blink an eye.
Plovdiv does not offer pure vegan restaurants. We decided to try the Indian. Service was very firendly, plenty of veg options and the kitchen was happy to veganize some others for us. We truly enjoyed the evening.
Good vegan options! I recommend the boiled potato (much better than it sounds) with the cumin-seed rice, and the dahl (thin, but delicious) and garlic naan (just ask for it to be vegan no butter). The biryani and peas pulao were very tasty, but too oily to be ordered again. Lots of seats, mainly inside. Friendly staff who spoke good English. Free WiFi. Already been twice but would go back for sure, especially considering the vegan options in this city aren't too great.
My favorite restaurant in Plovdiv! They make delicious Indian foo and have a lot of choices for vegeratians, too. I recommend trying Tikka Masala, Panic Makhani, Samosa and the Salty Lasi drink. Get yourself some Bismati rice to mix the food with. Prices are a bit high but the food is so fantastic, it is worth it!
