Louis' On The Block - Plumstead

Still one of the best steaks. Louis is a hidden gem. Top service, menu has a big selection. Food was outstanding.Price was very reasonable. If your ever in Bergvliet... Keep it up guys.

Really nice little spot in the burbs. I enjoyed the 200g sirloin but found the menu very strange. I'm not sure if they are a steak house or a pizza joint. There is only one cut of meat on the menu sirloin and only one size 200g. Bizarre! My wife had the same and we shared a creme Brulee for dessert which was also good. Service is a little slow...there's nothing worse than waiting to attract attention for the bill. Good meal overall so we'll give them another try!

Very nice restaurant. The service very good and very friendly staff. Their menu a bit limited, but the food is awesome. Try and make it for their early bird specials.

Louis has never failed to deliver a great meal and we've eaten there a number of times. The service is not always the fastest, but it's always with smile amd as long as there is a glass of wine at hand and good company, I'm ok with waiting. The menu has changed a fair bit from the one on the site and includes a better range of foods for vegetarians (the veggie pizzas are incredible). The onion rings are probably the that I've ever had and the steaks and pizzas are consistently excellent. It's a cosy place to spend an evening.

A gem of a place hidden away in the heart of a suburb. The vibe is comfy, with mostly middle aged clients. But that 's ok. And it holds good comfort food, with no corkage charge (Well done). I had the chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce, which was yumo. Three other people I was with had the same, also enjoyed it. Another two had pizzas which looked awesome, apparently tasted great. Pecan pie desert was also yumo. And according to the rest of my party the creme brule larger than normal is superb, along with the malva pudding. But I will say one thing regarding the 'specials ' board. All of the 'specials ' on there except one are in the menu. So that means they 're not really specials, so that 's false advertising. But otherwise all good.
