The food, service, and atmosphere are all top notch, with a rating of 5 for each. I highly recommend it for vegetarians as well. There is plenty of parking available, including free parking.
We used to eat at Popo at least once a week. The food was always consistent and we have enjoyed dining here ever since we moved here almost 4 years ago. However, this week prices suddenly went up by 20%. Our usual order went from under $70 to over $90 in one visit. This is unacceptable, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. Service: Take-out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10-20.
I went to this restaurant to get some hot and sour soup because I have a cold and it usually helps, but the soup was disappointingly bland. It was just okay and it wasn't even very hot. I usually prefer my soup piping hot. The egg rolls were overpriced, so I opted for the spring rolls at $1.99 each. They were small and seemed to be just dropped in the fryer. As I was driving away, I realized I could have gotten two huge slices of pizza next door for the same price of $4 instead of these tiny spring rolls. The restaurant fixed my order, but I do not plan on returning.
I've been eating here for over 20 years. They're a local family owned business. Nice people and great food!
I did not care about the price. I wanted chinese food that night. All I got was disappointment. The chicken wings were bland and small they try to make up for it by adding a fifth wing cause most order come with four medium sized wings. It really did not matter cause the wings were verry bland greasy. I ordered wonton soup it tasted like water and soy sauce and not actual broth. Wonton was under cooked and no flavor. Barely any green onion and the pork slices that usually come in wonton soup and were so small and julienne cut. I just started laughing with anger. The vegetable egg Foo young I've ordered many times from different restaurants. The gravy is usually separated from the egg. When I got home the egg Foo young was just a gravy mess. The Mei fun tasted like what a wet dog smells like we had to doctor it up with soy sauce and sesame oil which made it better. The only thing that came correct in the whole order was the plain white rice. We should have a committee to inspect all chinese restaurants to ensure quality taste portion are being met. I should have just stayed home and cooked my own wings. Popo is 6min away. But I'll drive 20 minutes away to #1 chinese. Because the flavors are correct and portions are fair. Somebody should call the popo on the popo for bland food.
