Maggies Corner Cafe - Plymouth

Plymothians are unsure about what happened to the businesses located under the "Viaduct" road when the bus stop was destroyed to make way for the construction of a large cinema and restaurant complex completed in late 2019. Many believed that after the subway entrances were closed off, the old cafes and nightclub were either demolished to make room for the new project or incorporated into it. It is evident that Maggies is now permanently closed.

The bus stop has been relocated to two different locations on the opposite side of the city. Recently, the entire Bretonside area was shut down, except for some narrow pathways on either side. Maggies, along with all other businesses, have closed down. There is uncertainty about what will happen to the space underneath the viaduct or if the cafe will be relocated. There have been no reports of any efforts to revive the cafe in a different location.

Now, since the developers have moved in, this and all the other devices have closed within the bretonside bus station. This also includes the public toilet. like the coach boarding and drop-off point has moved into a circular, which has replaced the good old one. maggies as somewhere a cuppa morning or somewhere to relieve them on the trip before? answer nothing!

1 or 2 negative comments here,that shouldnt be.maggies is a well known cafe in plymouth where you get good service with a side order of friendlyness,maggie is a legend is always there for her customers with a warm smile.the new manager..sue..is working wonders,improving quality.. service.fancy a cuppa or a meal ? Pop in see sue,maggie their staff

Can't make a mug of tea for toffee so I stick to black coffee (lukewarm). Labels left on plated food and staff pleasantness is variable. It is a microcosm of the concrete bus station and not as cheap as you'd expect. Go to the other...end of the bus station for a jacket or a salad/sandwich from the snack bar by the newstand!!
