Contribuisci feedbackI just wanted to give a big thank you to Renata for her patience over the past two Saturdays and to beginners crochet class by Lucy and Julie. It was very much appreciated and I am confident that we will both improve with their excellent informal teaching style. Best wishes to Renata and take care. PS: Both pictures are by Lucy - Julie still has a bit of work to do! PPS: The owner of the facility is also lovely. We felt very welcomed on both days and definitely recommend this gem in Royal William Yard. Thanks, Lizzy.
Making garments at 140 is incredible. The store is filled with stunning and unique materials, and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The courses and workshops offered are just as diverse as the products in the shop. They are led by experts in their field and are excellent. Not only do I learn something new every time I visit, but I also get lost in the process of creating a garment, forgetting all the stress in my life for a few hours. Oh, and the button selection is as beautiful and varied as the materials!
Make is a unique and well-stocked restaurant with a funky art vibe. Visitors can expect to receive good and honest advice, as well as great tips on online resources. Throughout the year, Lizzie organizes various courses that are both fun and empowering.
I love this place literally! amazing fabrics, amazing courses and inviting owners. lizzy never tries me more substance than I need, which means that this place is a more trustworthy favorit.
Make is a charming little cafe/haberdashery. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and have excellent product knowledge. The products available are surprisingly wide ranging for a relatively small space and cater for a number of different crafts. They also do classes and courses, which I have not personally attended, but seem very well received.
