The vegetable Madras is rich and flavorful, while the Saag Aloo is heavenly and out of this world. As a bonus, we were pleasantly surprised with 3 complimentary onion Bhajis added to our order.
I have been a regular at masala’z, but since the new management took over, the food has improved even more. Normally I don't finish my plate, but this time I devoured it. The chicken was delicious and full of flavor. The portions are generous and offer great value for money. The only downside is that they have raised the prices of the chips and reduced their size.
Thought I'd try a new Indian takeaway for a change, wish I hadn't bothered now, ordered a Biryani and a Dansak, the Biryani looked and tasted like a Chinese special fried rice but with a strong tomato flavour almost tomato soup like flavour too it, the Dansak wasn't like any other Dansak I've had before again lacked flavour didn't have a lot of meat in it either. On the plus side the poppadoms were nice and crispy !
In my 62 years of travel and enjoying my food and cooking this has to go down as the worse curry I have eaten. I’m not sure who cooked this take away I’m guessing it’s not a seasoned Indian cook. Bombay potato was greasy and sloppy. No taste. Curry looked like a bowl of union slop and I’ve never seen a bright red curry in my life. This was absolutely disgusting. And I hope the rice wasn’t re heated because it was... I can’t explain what it was!. My advise is to keep away from this place.
Eat here regularly, brilliant delicious Indian food, never had a bad meal here, chef owners great people A1guys keep up the good work
