Plymstock Inn - Plymouth

I only had drinks, but the pub was charming and had a friendly atmosphere. It’s very stylish, featuring plenty of sofas and a variety of seating options.

I want to start by saying that I think this pub is fantastic. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. I've been here many times over the years. However, I have to mention that the food quality seems to have declined recently. I understand the argument that it’s a pub serving food, not a restaurant, but the prices are set at restaurant levels! For example, I ordered the scampi and chips, which is priced at £15. The chips were served cold and undercooked, and the peas were also cold. This just doesn’t seem like a £15 meal! A couple of years ago, the food was amazing, featuring home-cooked daily specials.

They accommodated our entire family, over 20 people, all at once and served the food together, creating a friendly atmosphere with exceptionally warm staff. We were really impressed and will definitely return!

Kids liked the play area, but food service was slow despite it not being busy. Quite a few menu items were also unavailable so all in all not up to it's reputation.

Great pub, and outdoor space and ambiance,.. to this lovely little village , I'd love to live here with this on my doorstep. Great food and service, enjoyed by my friend and I, although not my first visit here Thank you X
