A beautiful ambience, embraced with a spectacular interior design. There was a good atmosphere from the customers, which certainly would have given the team, with that extra bit of self motivation, as it appeared all customers were satisfiedi, enjoying there visits. The standards of cleanliness overall was good, however when examining the detailed areas, and toilets, it was clear that more time and attention was given to these areas. Also the external areas of the business also require that little bit more detail. First and last impressions the customer will have. As mentioned above my food did not match the brand standards a way to ensure this happening often, a build up chart of each meal sold, along with a picture of the end product. Portion size to big, A tighter control of this, will benefit the restaurant no end. overall staff appearance was good. Appeared passionate, motivated with some of the staff going that extra mile for the customer. To conclude a great restaurant, living up to its core values, with some staff having quite a deep insight into the business.
Friendly staff but the food is mediocre. Very light on pizza toppings would not have been happy if I'd had to Pay £15.50 for basically a pizza base overloaded with cheese not a lot else. Total cost of bill was £49 for a small bowl of pasta, an underwhelming pizza 2 glasses of wine. Fortunately we only paid £19 for the wine used vouchers for the food!! Wouldn't choose this restaurant.
Was very welcomed at this restaurant. Food was lovely. I had carbonara and honeycomb cheesecake for desert. Yum. Service was good and didn’t have to wait long for any food or drink
Popped in on Bank Holiday Sunday hoping to o eat as a party of 6. Only 1/4 of tables were occupied so plenty of space. Asked for a menu only to be told unless we had a booking they couldn't seat us. Manager then intervened and reiterated blaming staff shortage. Having worked in the service sector for 25 years I can certainly sympathise with a management team facing staff issues, however, there is never an excuse for passing your problem onto the customer! Rude and abrupt, they wouldn't even let us use the toilet before we went on to find a restaurant that had some civil staff. Would not recommend, pity given the fabulous location.
Hello. Firstly, I wish to begin with this… I love going to Prezzo, I’m a huge fan. Secondly, I have never, ever been disappointed by Prezzo… until today, 25/8/2022. I decided to have my birthday gathering for six adults at Prezzo Plymouth. The day was beautiful, the location stunning, the food and service, utterly disappointing. We came in after 2pm and the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, seemingly with plenty of staff. After we had finished the starter (which took 20 minutes to arrive , it took over 30 minutes for our plates to be removed and a further 15 minutes for the mains to be delivered. When they did arrive, three were incorrect and one not delivered with no explanation as to the delay. We transferred the vegan pepperoni topping to the correct pizza to sort out two of the incorrect dishes, while a replacement was made for the third (which arrived relatively quickly so why was the initial mains order so slow? . Three of the pizzas came with no pizza wheels and we actually had to ask for cutlery and napkins, by which time the pizzas were cold. The pizzas themselves were nothing special, disappointingly overcooked, exceptionally dry and sadly tasteless. Infact, the toppings were so frugal in the extreme that we unanimously couldn’t enjoy them . We have been to Prezzo in Bridgewater, Windsor, Derby and Nottingham in the last year and in each case, the vegan pizzas were infinitely better cooked and had more generous toppings. On enquiring if we were happy with the service, the true extent of our pizza experience was so abysmal and embarrassing that we collectively decided to not raise the issue immediately , as we didn’t want to cause any inconvenience to other diners. While we were in the restaurant waiting for the food, my daughter noticed that Prezzo are offering a two-for-one deals on cocktails until mid-September. My daughter wanted to buy them separately from the meal as she would be paying for them herself and the lady at the bar said that she would be able to provide them by ordering for a different table. She was overridden by the manager(? who said that she couldn’t do that as we were using the Meerkat offer for the meal. I realise that may be the Prezzo policy but, at the same time, pedantic. Not only would some revenue have been lost as my daughter was intending to buy several birthday treat rounds for the six of us but, on top of the poor quality food and service, she would be much less inclined to visit Prezzo in future. There are plenty of good pizza restaurants that probably wouldn’t be unhappy to work round any similar policy issue. All in all a very poor birthday pizza experience. The worst pizza we have ever had. Yours Disappointed, Mrs Phoebe Jones .
