Rumpus Cosy - Plymouth

This is one of my favorite cafes in Plymouth. The food is delightful, the tea is exceptional, and the staff are wonderful. It's a perfect spot to enjoy with friends or to relax alone with a book or work in a peaceful environment. We also took the kids to the charming Christmas grotto, and they adored it! Highly recommended!! xxx

My girlfriend and I are frequent visitors to this restaurant, and I absolutely adore it. The staff is welcoming, the food is incredible, and the atmosphere is just right—never too cramped or overcrowded. It's the ideal tea room and a fantastic spot for a light lunch or a romantic dinner. I can't recommend this place highly enough. You have to try the Violet milkshake!

A tranquil haven of culture, calm, and coffee nestled in the bustling city center of Plymouth. The service is warm, friendly, and inviting. The cakes are delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit—I'll be returning!

Great service, nice and relaxing atmosphere, cakes adorable,refreshing tea. I always take friends and family that have never visited Rumpus Cosy before and they all love it. Just one little thing is that we all would prefer larger coffee cups. Thank you. will be back and thank you.

Rumpus is one of the City's hidden gems, as I think people only think they are a coffee shop but they also offer an excellent dining experience too. Myself and a group of friends went along to make the most of their evening supper menu, which was fantastic. For my main course I had their fish pie which came with a huge amount of fish in it, which was in a deliciously creamy sauce topped off with some smooth and creamy mashed potato. For my desert I had their cheeseboard which was served with a generous portion of 3 cheeses along with some extra little touches such as pickled cauliflower in a tiny plant pot and also walnuts. The staff are all extremely friendly and very attentive, as well as being personable too. The atmosphere within Rumpus is lovely, with a selection of jazz and some real old school classics playing, along with the warm lighting of the place, really sets your evening up as a nice chilled one. One thing I noticed whilst I was there was that all profits go to a children's charity which I think is fantastic! Thanks for a great night and will see you again soon!
