Hidden by building works and can imagine many people would just walk past. So glad we didn’t as the home-made soup, sandwiches and cakes were just what we wanted. Friendly service and very reasonably priced.
This is a lovely hidden gem in the heart of Plymouth Barbican. Worth it for the views across Sutton Harbour from a historically interesting house alone especially from upstairs . The main feature however is the excellent and tasty snacks, lunches and teas. I gather all the food is locally sourced and all prepared on site. Sit back and enjoy! We turned up with a family group of 14 ! and were welcomed pushchairs and all. Food was served very promptly and was delicious and in huge portions. Great value too and good old fashioned service. Try it!
I had a very nice afternoon tea there. Not expensive at all, the scones are good, family business, ambiance sounded si British. 5/5
This hidden gem is easy to overlook, but once inside, you'll find a quaint cafe filled with charming decor. The friendly and attentive staff serve homemade scones and delicious soup, while the tea is served in adorable cups from a traditional teapot. The overall experience at this little shop is delightful, and I can't wait to go back. Great job, ladies!
