Oh, what a wonderful find! My friend and I stumbled upon this place after being disappointed at a nearby Cafe Rouge where we were left waiting for a table for 15 minutes. We opted for the set lunch menu, which was delicious and reasonably priced at 16 pounds. The service was top-notch, with professional and friendly staff. The Lebanese wine we tried was really unique and a pleasant surprise. I always thought of this place as somewhere for special occasions, but after this experience, I would definitely come back more frequently. The interior of the restaurant is a bit cramped, but the half-covered outdoor area is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant and suggest dragging your significant other to try it out!

OOh marvelous. Me and the hubby found this place after wandering into nearby Cafe Rouge and being left standing for about minutes with no sign of a table or even a waiter to tell us what was going on. We had a set lunch menu which was incredibly good value around pounds I think and certainly no more than we would have paid for the bog standard food in Cafe Rouge. The service was excellent, professional and friendly, the food an absolute revelation (we aren't used to such posh nosh Try the Lebanese wine if they still sell it really unusual. I'd always thought of Tanners as somewhere just for those special occasions like anniversaries, but at these prices its easily affordable to do more often. The inside restaurant is a bit claustrophobic but there's a sort of semi-covered area which is divine. Highly recommended force your hubby to take you!
