The Chip Stop - Plymouth

Asked for large Cod and chips as this was the only Fish on the menu ... fish was cooked to order which is great so happyly waited for 7 mins so a fresh piece of Atlantic Cod . The fish looked good with a nice batter and chips are decent . But sadly the fish didn't deliver the buttery firm sweet taste it was very soft and mild like alaskan Pollock .

Delicious, moderately priced and reasonably sized portions. Not too fatty. Within easy and pleasant strolling distance of Mayflower Marina. Call ahead and it will be ready and waiting for you. A semi-regular, whenever we visit Plymouth (2nd home here). A warm welcome from Paul and Linda. Recommended.

Passing by on a drive out. So spotted this chippy carry out. Ordered a fish. Came after some time but that is good for fish. Fish was average size. Batter a bit goey. Filled a hole but will not rush back. Staff ok.

Stop off for COD n chips freshly made and very tasty Put in a box which does not sweat so chips are nice and fresh and not soggy,parking can be tricky but plenty of side street to stop in Shop has a good web site join the email and get 20% off your first order

Really good food here for take away. Great range on the menu, friendly and happy service and quick. Good portions and value for money.
