The Thai House - Plymouth

This food has a strong unpleasant odor resembling cow manure, I do not recommend trying it.

The food at this restaurant is truly delicious! I tried the pineapple red curry with vegetables and white rice, and it was a delightful treat for my taste buds. I am a big fan of Thai curries and this one did not disappoint. The waiter was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu items to me when I was feeling a bit confused. The service was excellent and the ambiance was pleasant. The restaurant was also very clean and tidy. I was impressed with the variety of vegetarian options available, as it can often be difficult to find good options at other places.

I'm not certain about what has changed with this restaurant in the past year or so, but I can't quite pinpoint it. It may be under new management, but the service and quality are not up to par as they used to be. I still visit occasionally, but it has lost its spark, which is disappointing.

Quite a small restaurant just off Plymouth Town centre. The service was excellent, and the food is very authentic Thai. I had the mixed seafood Thom Yum to start, and it was flavourful with an excellent balance of hot and sour. My main was the beef short rib massaman curry, deliciously rich flavour, spicy without being overpowering, and beef so tender you could cut it by looking at it! Absolutely first-class restaurant and I will definitely be back again soon. Very highly recommended. P.s. the only proper Satay in Plymouth... you must try it, thank me later!
