Contribuisci feedbackWe (family of four dogs) had an amazing time at Copper Dock. On the way back to St. Louis from the host family in the southern center of Illinois, we were looking for dog friendly restaurants near here and Copper Dock was one of the top results. We tried to confirm and got a recording, the hours, but was not able to talk to anyone. We decided to try it anyway, because we really didn't want to ride thru (because of the dog). When we arrived, we rejoiced about the Vista, the menu and welcomed that the family dog was given. Our server delivered ice water in a dog shell together with our waters! One note was that we have many strange looks for wearing our masks for COVID (review written in August 2020). We seemed to be the only males and employees to wear them. This is not meant as a thing against Copper Dock, just one note I have no idea what the rules are in Bond County, but other males need to know. We carried them on arrival and departure, but they took off at the table. It was all outdoors and probably contributed to the relaxed mood. The menu had a selection for which adults and children could easily find options. The food was all great and came out in time. We did two appetizers Bavarian Brezel was amazing in its crispy outside soft inside. The jumbo roasted raviolis were also delicious. Among the most important entrees were the tasty burgerries, fish and chips, and the caprese Flatbread. Everyone was hit. My wife had a rose when it was a warm day and she said she enjoyed it and had two glasses, so... Although the experience was influenced by some things that are not valid for standard visitors, it was a nice day, a live acoustic set was played this night, we were exhausted hungry and wanted to eat outside with our dog accompanying. So when we arrived at this beautiful environment and had a server that specifically wanted tables with dogs, it only added to the feeling of a great discovery for all of us.
My husband and I enjoy Coppet Dock winery. Tonight I had the Cesar salad with Steak and he had the grilled chicken sandwich. I liked my salad and he enjoyed his sandwich. We had two bottles. We also ordered a rose to go. We always go back. Tonight the breeze was perfect and not too hot or too cold. It wasn't very busy either. We live near Troy IL, so this winery is the perfect place to feel away without really.
I'm here once, but I want to go back. This place is amazingly so peaceful and beautiful. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food is great. I'm not really a wine drinker, but they really enjoyed a wine there, my husband and I both. I can't wait until it's in stock again.
Absolutely wonderful and friendly staff. We just happened to it and stopped by to see. The landscape was relaxing and the wine was good. We had no food, but we'll come back to try it out.
Beautiful location. Lots of outdoor seating. Decent food. Servers were not wearing masks.
