Butterburr's - Pocatello

Good food, very reasonable and tasty portions. Wait staff are fun and efficient.

We took some Boston friends touting how good Butter Burrs was. The food was good, but not as great as we’ve had in the past. The server was very good. The table was not clean. It was sticky. I noticed that most tables had a fold up leaf at the end of the table and the crease was really dirty. It needed cleaned badly. All I could imagine were the germs that must be lurking there. It made my food less than enticing.

We had the soup, salad sandwich for lunch. The potatoe-bacon soup was awesome!! My wife had the chowder with the open face chicken fried steak Katie was our server, she was great. Next time we’re in Pocatello we will be back!!

I was disappointed that they charge 18% surcharge for parties over 6 people and 3% if you use a debit or credit card. I didn't leave a tip for the waitress due to the surcharges. The atmosphere was a little dark.

I was back in town and thought I would try them again. The food was just ok this time around. The server was good, but the food took a long time to get. My wife's plate was dropped and they had to make it again. We were all done with our food by the time it came out. French toast should not take that long to make. Prices seemed high for what you get.
