Chapala Mexican Restaurant - Pocatello

If you get the chance, I highly recommend that you eat at the Mexican restaurant, here in Pocatello, Chapalas. We try to eat there regularly, as their service is, and always has been, wonderful. They’re a family owned restaurant here in Pocatello and we like to support family owned restaurants if we can. Today we ordered some food to-go and when I went in to pay, they recognized us from previous times offered free drinks chips salsa (and when we got home, we realized sopapillas. They can’t do this for everyone, of course, but the gesture was so kind. Then the man who works there, who was helping me, then helped me carry everything out to our car. The whole family that works there is always so kind and thoughtful and they are always like this. There’s not a single time when we go into the restaurant that they are not happy and willing to joke around with you. If you get the chance to support them, you won’t regret it!

Just like the food I miss in NM. Hafta get my fix whenever I can. So delish!!! And the Margaritas are the bomb!!!

I have a couple of Mexican restaurants in town that I prefer and always hit up but when a friend said to meet over here, I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing customer service. Family run and they do an amazing job. The food was great. The atmosphere was authentic and inviting and it was a great spot to eat and enjoy good company. The restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive and added to the enjoyment. I will definitely add these guys to my list of favorite restaurants in town. Thanks!
