If you go there be ready to eat great food. It kept...coming to our table and when we said oh you're going to kill us, Sr. Costa laughed and said well you came here to eat, right? Oh and we did!
We decided to book this restaurant on a whim and boy, were we lucky! There's a set menu but everything we were served was so fresh and tasty we were glad we didn't have to choose. They serve the best alheiras the tomato is to...die for and even the house wine is incredible. Unlike other opinions here, the owners were super friendly, took the time to chat with us and saved us hundreds of euros by calling us to tell us we had left a valuable object behind. We'll be sure to come back!
Small but cosy and very clean restaurant near Douro river. Quite restricted menu, delicious Mirandese (AOC) veal meat grilled and tasty served after o choice of small starters Petiscos specialities of the region. Very good home deserts, cream and puddings. Decent choice of wines. Very...friendly and pleasant service.
I take groups of to to Taberna Da Julinha several times a year and always we enjoy our visit. We always tell Julinha we want a light lunch but I'm afraid light isn't in her language.
When some restaurants became famous, that happened because customers made them famous. Careful, because the same customers can make them famous by the worst reasons as well. Food can be very good, but when the owner is arrogant enough to send customers away, means that...the end is close. Maybe the worst service we experienced in all region. Good bye and have luck
