What a beautiful restaurant, you’ve got to find it, when you do it’s worth the find, family of ten and we were looked after from entry to exit, excellent service, food and quality wine helped our family to a very enjoyable evening, great selection for...kids, relaxing atmosphere with excellent menu options for the grown ups, can recommend to everyone looking for a great restaurant within the Sao bras de alportel area Thank you for an excellent evening Alex
The food was excellent across all the courses. Service was really bad with the exception of a young waiter in dreadlocks who saved the night. The more senior waiters were not friendly at all or helpful
This restaurant was an amazing surprise. as soon as they arrive, the experience begins because the restaurant is absolutely beautiful! as they enter, they can feel the smell of firewood, they welcome them in together with their very friendly staff. everyone was very helpful and ready to make great suggestions regarding the menu what was fantastic because it was so much to choose! the atmosphere was great with beautiful chill background music and low lights. also dogs are welcome! they have a very nice covered terrace/veranda where they can enjoy the company of their pets and do not feel the cold. now, move on to the main attraction: eating! we ordered a rare steak with mushroom sauce and potato gratin, and duck magret with orange sauce and mushroom risotto. wow! the portion size was very good, and the taste was amazing. the meat was obviously very high quality and perfectly cooked. for dessert we had a chocolate mousse and the orange and cumquat cheesecake. both were excellent choices! the prices are very fair, and the experience is simply amazing. this will be a mandatory stop every time we come to the algarve!
What a fantastic place just on the outskirts of Sao Bras... We were staying just up the hill and booked Sabores do Campo as it was just down the hill from us. Tucked away up a little lane, it's like an oasis when you arrive....A fantastic warm welcome from Ruis who looked after us and found us a nice little table in the corner. As far as the food goes . . . up there with the best we've had in Portugal. The shrimp to start was sublime and I had the wild pig to follow which was simply lovely. The house wine is also superb, the red was to die for. All in all a fantastic experience, highly recommended, but make sure you book early as it gets busy. Great value for money as well. Dinner for two including starters, mains, G&T and a few glasses of wine was around €50 Enjoy!
