We had a late lunch and we were looking for dessert for dinner. Filipino friends traveling with us recommended Halo Halo, a traditional Filipino dessert. They told us that the best was at Chow King. It was fun and good. We ordered a traditional and a milky white. I loved the milky white. Be sure to try this shave ice, fruit, condensed milk, custard, jello concoction if you are in the Philippines. Chow King is everywhere.
Should be renamed chocking and the food was not good. The food ordered was tasteless and for me not appetizing You are better off at Mcdo or KFC.
The food at Chowking is very delicious. They serve authentic chinese delicacies which is loved by most Filipinos. The taste, the smell, the texture of the food is just right for us. Sometimes it's crowded especially weekdays because of students nearby. But it doesn't matter because you'll persuade to get a chair just to eat there. Overall the place is good especially to us who wants to taste different food that would spend with the family and be happy together.
Last April we go there for a simple lunch, compare to any Chowking branch in manila the service is so fast and staff are friendly and accommodating.
