Martell's Tiki Bar

My Fiancé and I went here for dinner Friday night 7/7/23 and got the lobster BLT which had to be sent back cause the lobster was under cooked and the bacon was a rock and cold. I ordered the sausage and peppers sandwich and now two days later I’m in the ER with food poisoning. Very disappointing, tried to have a nice vacation meal and ended up extremely sick….wouldn’t recommend.

Great place. Worth the wait in line. Bring your ID so you don't have to go back to your car to get it. They take security seriously. Awesome drinks, kinda expensive, but they have plenty of booze! Food is great too. Highly recommended for the boardwalk in point pleasant!

Great wait staff. Management is accommodating if needed (doubt will be necessary). Food is priced fair and is good. Priced $20-20 p/p for just food for an app and meal. Can easily be $10-20. Obviously liquor drinks nit inclined this.

Came here on Sunday early evening on Memorial Day weekend. The line wasn't bad to get in, only waited like 5 min. Had to pay $10 cash per person to get in. There's an ATM on the left right before you get on the line. There was a great cover band playing, loved the 90's music and they sounded just like the original artists. Wish I got the name of the band. We got drinks and sat down. Ordered lobster sliders and chicken tenders. Both were good. Came back later at night and there were barely any people left. Had a few more drinks and ordered steamed clams from the bar. Tried to move from the high tables to the low ones right next to the bar and the bartender said we couldn't sit there since we ordered at the bar. My back was hurting a lot, I have severe back issues and can't sit without back support for long. I waited until the food came and was paid for. Tried to sit at the table again that was literally two feet from the bar and again the bartender says no we can't sit there because of the food. That is absolutely ridiculous and makes no sense. We paid for it already and we sat and ate at those tables before. This makes no sense. Thanks for messing up my back for the rest of the night by making me sit on the bar stool much longer than I planned. Next time people order food, warn them about your ridiculous seating rules.
