The place only takes cash (wtf, it 's not like the prices are any real- hell, a bagel with tuna is TEN BUCKS- is it laced with gold? I don 't think so, but I guess it 's an IRS thing). So like I said, these aren 't bagels, they would double as flotation devices if you needed rescuing out in the inlet. Service is only good if you know the loquacious and selectively friendly owner John, who hires vacuous teens who may or may not know how to spell 'bagel ' in less than 60 seconds. No trash can to be seen on the premises, and for the kicker, the prices vary from day to day based on the cashier 's whim. A mile or 2 away is delicious bagels and they are just that, it 's roomier, friendlier, better parking ... Plus they take credit cards, have a great attitude and prices are reasonable !
These bagels reign Supreme in the area. So many cream cheese/spread options. They even have vegan tofu cream cheese for my gf. 10/10
I went to barons recently with 3 my best friends for some good breakfast sandwiches because we love their food and we’ve never come to the point one before and the staff here were just completely out of line. first of all they were yelling at us from the door what we wanted and we had just set foot in the door. after asking for a minute they asked two more times for our orders. after giving our orders the gentleman working the register commented on how large my friends sandwich was and how much he was eating, i mean he didn’t take it to heart but why the unnecessary rudeness? like we just wanted some good breakfast and these people made us so uncomfortable and unwelcomed. not coming back to this one
Love Baron's. The bagels are enormous- fluffy flavorful. A great breakfast sandwich spot for any day
