Bàcaro Urban Pizzeria Pointe Claire

I made a reservation for a table for four on Friday, March 17th, at 6:30 PM. When I arrived, the restaurant was completely dark, and the doors were locked. It turns out the restaurant had gone bankrupt. I'm not sure how they were still accepting reservations for a place that was closed. It was a complete waste of time.

We arrived for our reservation, only to find the restaurant closed with no explanation or notice. This left us in a difficult situation as we had to quickly come up with a new plan for my sister's mini baby shower at the last minute.

The food and service were fantastic, but we felt the prices were a bit steep for what you receive. A small serving of calamari for $19 seems excessive! I believe this might explain why the restaurant was empty on Saturday evening, especially with Café Milano right next door offering more reasonable prices – their place was bustling!

Spoke to owner a week before about ordering for a party and he confirmed he would cater. When we ordered we were told one hour before that they can’t because the restaurant is closed…..We recently spoke to the same owner and he complained about how all is his business is being lost to Cafe Milano right beside….well, you’re doing yourself no favors by driving away loyal customers. I’ll be eating at Milanos next time as they saved our party.

Service was horrible ! Food good portions of pasta and calmar was very small for the price and the garlic bread was hardly no butter on it no taste !!!! Went in La Prairie and ambiance service and food was amazing ! Pointe Claire need to get there stuff organized 1/2 and hour to get drink’s ! … not very happy won’t go back !
