Barahi - Pokhara

Excellent hotel with all the amenities you need for a great stay. Restaurant and bar was great and staff very friendly and professional. Spa and swimming pool.

Had a great time to stay here, many of the complaints I have been addressed in the older reviews hot water, Wi-Fi, bad service seems. The service was particularly large and all employees were constantly smiling and attentive. It is also very close to the lake. The best part of the hotel is the pool if you want to spend your time in Pokhara by the pool, then Barahi is the #1 place for you.

Fantastic hotel. Staff very friendly and so attentive. Service was always with a smile and helpful. Food was great in the restaurant especially the Nepalese dishes. Large selection including Momo and Western food. I would try the spicy local dishes as excellent. Entertainment with dance and live music in 1900 was a real pleasure in the restaurant area. Pool and poolside recently renovated and looks great. Poolside was in direct sun until about 1700. Obviously the season changes. View from one of the roofs that the employee took me up to see the unhindered view of the mountains at sunset was nice. The hotel staff organized a trip to see the sunrise on the mountains. Very happy to have breakfast on the hills overlooking the magnificent mountain range. Rooms recently renovated to a high standard. Fresh fruit, biscuits, tea, coffee, kettle, small fridge etc. Bathroom was nice and very well tiled. Wi-Fi through room and pool and restaurant was very good.

Stayed here twice and had the best experience both times. The staff is so thoughtful. Even if they are booked with full capacity, they feel like the VIP customer. The food was always disgusting. I spent the whole day at the pool. It is close to the lake, so it is perfect for an evening or a morning walk. The rooms are spacious and clean. Try to book the super deluxe rooms for deluxe rooms because they are worth the extra money.

Actually I haven't stayed in hotel Barahi but I live opposite to hotel Barahi .But it's a very good hotel well furnished with balcony from each room with 24 hours service facilities.
