East Shore Smoke House - Polson

East Shore Smoke House is a must-visit if you're in the Polson area. The food is delicious and the portions are generous! The brisket on my sandwich was piled high, and the house-made chips were crispy and delightful. For dessert, I tried the Huckleberry ice cream topped with caramel sauce (it may sound unusual, but a friend encouraged me to give it a shot, and I was not let down!). I dined there during a private event, and everyone in our group received exceptional service. I highly recommend giving East Shore Smoke House a try!

Ordered the Montana Margarita and it was very good. Truffle Fries also a hit. BUT the Hungryman BBQ combo plate was disappointing. Not sure I would call the smoked brisket, brisket. It was flavorless, no smoke ring, brownish like it was from couple days ago and two teeny tiny slices. The pulled pork was similar, again lacking any flavor profile. Ribs were OK. Overall it’s a cool roadside restaurant, just not a “smokehouse” if that’s what your looking for.

The ambiance is absolutely stunning, and the owners are incredibly welcoming. The staff is excellent as well. As evident from the pictures, the food is fantastic. I ordered the BBQ, which came with coleslaw and homemade chips. For dessert, I enjoyed a banana split and marshmallows soaked in brandy. I love coming here because it has a calming vibe, not to mention the charming terrace showcased in the photos. This place is a favorite of mine. The drive along Highway 35 by Flathead Lake is breathtaking.

I absolutely love rare beef, and I was thrilled when the restaurant was able to accommodate my preference. The first piece I received wasn't quite as rare as I'd hoped, so Anna kindly checked with the chef to find a truly rare cut, and they succeeded! It was fantastic! The drinks were strong andnot watered down, the baked potato was a solid 12 out of 10, and there was delightful live music on Saturday night. Overall, it was a wonderful meal by Flathead Lake. We will definitely be back!

The indoor and outdoor deck are beautiful. You can say they think about it a lot. The service was impeccable. The food was almost a perfect score. Appetizers: pork bark and cheese cures were from this world and so was the beef-stroganoff. Unfortunately, the brisket was not something under par. In any case, this was a fantastic discovery and we will definitely come back to explore more about the menu. As a date night place or to bring visitors, this is a great place.
