I did not take a picture of the wings, but it is the plate with left bone (on picture). Her chicken wings are $6.99 (I believe) for 6 pieces that is a good value! If you should compare with other wings. As for their main dish I ordered the Jerk Chicken (small) combo, which is served with rice and beans, curtains, a selection of salad or spinach. I guess the spinach option is better. My friend ordered her curry chicken dish, which was really creamy and well cooked! The lady who visited us was as friendly and welcoming as for Sharon (woman with blue hair). She went beyond and beyond to make our experience like home. I will come back for the chicken wings and Ruck Hähnchen Hamburger
Finally found a place with authentic Jamaican food, and they also have a store inside the restaurant. The store section stocks typical ingredients for Jamaican dishes. Sevice was A+. We felt welcomed and the restaurant was inviting, even with an outdoor section. Family friendly, Covid guidelines, and Air Conditioned. We had the Beef Short Ribs Combination and it was the best! Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Highly recommend it along with the wide selection of Jamaican refreshments. We tried the Jerk Chicken empanadas and they were perfectly seasoned and spicy!
A great place for delicious Jamaican food, if you like it spicy! A clean and modern dining area with lots of room. Or you can sit at the bar and watch the game. Definitely a go to spot! A lot of my favorite Jamaican restaurants back East are hole in the walls, but this is definitely a step up from that and still as delicious
Great black owned business to support. I have only had “to go orders” but the inside of the restaurant has a nice vibe. It’s clean modern with tv’s a nice bar. During my first visit I ordered the oxtails. Perfectly cooked but it could have used a bit more seasoning. The second time I had the jerk chicken which was great. I have had the beef curry patties but the bbq was my favorite. I also tried out the pineapple wings which had an excellent flavor but a bit too breaded for my taste. The young lady who usually takes my order always makes me feel welcome cultures me further on Jamaican cuisine. The first time, I ordered over the phone but be prepared to pay in advance. The second, I ordered in person but did not wait long at all. It hasn’t been too busy when I have visited. I will be returning I definitely recommend.
Found a new spot to go to to get quality home cooked meals. I had ordered their jerk chicken plate with side of rice beans, spinach and plantains. The dish was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection, so juicy and tender. The rice was good too. Mix both the rice and spinach you get a hearty and flavourful taste. The plate also came with a spicy sauce for the chicken; sauce was great. Not too spicy but enough to get your senses rollin. I also had ordered the pineapple chicken wings. Bomb af!! Chicken wings were big and had a spicy juicy pineapple glaze coated. It was tasty! Also sampled their chicken curry bbq chicken patty's. Best of the two was the chicken curry. The patty itself looked like a huge cheese it cracker with flavourful chicken on the inside. The patty was baked to perfection; light and crisp. Perfect for an on the go treat. Will definitely be back for more.
