This was my first time back in a while, the same atmosphere, same decor, restaurant had an odd smell when you walk in. The food is still the same very good, the portions have gotten smaller but the prices have not. I would probably think twice before returning again.
We found this restaurant on OpenTable and it is truly the best kept secret. On its face, it is a very unassuming restaurant. When you enter you immediately feel as if you are in your Nona’s cantina. The executive chef and spouse were incredibly warm and welcoming. All of the day’s offerings were displayed on a chalkboard wall, similarly to Little Italy in the Bronx and in Manhattan. The pasta is made in house and all the protein is acquired the same day. Every dish was so delicious and fresh! My family of four and I totally enjoyed our experience. We will be returning upon our next visit. Five stars all around!
This place is a gem! The food was spectacular and the service was amazing! Will go back for sure.
Excellent and authentic Italian cuisine the best we’ve had in south Florida. The owners come and greet you and you feel like you’re in a Italian home! They are so welcoming and personable. Highly recommend. The bread and eggplant caponata start off what was to become a fabulous feast!
