When I walked in I was greeted by a smiling and very friendly young lady. I went on a Sunday late afternoon and the place wasn't busy at all. She sat me and shortly after I was greeted by my waitress, Tricia. And let me just say this place got five stars based on her ridonkulously great service! I told her it was my first time there so she sat down and we talked for quite some time. She was super friendly and even more helpful! I got a cup of the lobster bisque and it was really good! It's definitely more creamy but it did had some shredded pieces of lobster in there! Next, based on Tricia's recommendation, I got the cedar plank grilled salmon with a side salad (their homemade croutons are fantastic! and a side of their sautéed spinach. Service was fast and friendly. Food was tasty. And this place definitely has a warm and homely feel to it. I'm definitely going to be stopping by again.
3 1/2 stars for this casual luncheonette/diner type restaurant where prices are quite reasonable. The most expensive item I could find was about $20 for their steaks. I 've been here several times. The menu is large and they always have lots of specials. Today I came craving their lobster roll which I 've enjoyed in the past. It 's mainly small pieces of lobster on a hot dog bun but still good for the price. After looking over their lunch specials, I instead ordered their fried haddock sandwich. It came with a choice of sides and I chose french fries. Figured I 'd make it a fried day! Two breaded fillets came on a large soft roll with lettuce and tomato and tartar sauce on the side. The fries were nicely crisped. The fish was very good. It might be pre made, but I still liked it. Before the sandwich, I had a cup of their crab lobster bisque. It 's very creamy and has very small shreds of seafood in it. It was served hot in a mug along with a packet of oyster crackers. I 've had this before, too, but it was better than I remembered it. This is a good place to come when you 're not sure what you want or when everyone in your group wants something different. They have salads, sandwiches, dinners, seafood, burgers, etc. The waitresses seem to know a lot of the regulars by name but they also get a number of tourists. And no dress code come in jeans or however.
My go to place when I am not sure what I'm in the mood to have. Been here a number of times and Lito's has never let me down. Today I had the seafood trio which was mussels, clams and shrimp over a bed of linguini. Had it with the marinara sauce and it was very good. Salad included with meal and it was a hearty plate. Added bonus is they will cook your caught fish if you bring it in. All in all a good place to try
We ordered the blackened grouper special and the lobster roll to share. The grouper came with side of veg. Grouper was cooked perfectly. Very fresh. Properly salted. Side of coleslaw was excellent. The lobster roll was good as week but I did miss the chunks of lobster. It was more shredded than whole pieces. No fillers, lightly seasoned, no heavy mayo. Good portion on a buttered roll. The potato salad was excellent. Lightly dressed, very good.
Great Lunch served up by the amazing Rachel, No problems whatsoever during this visit. Draft Beer was cold and did the trick and the fried Haddock Sandwich with Tater Tots were outstanding. Also had the Wedge salad which was very good. Definitely worth checking out as they have fresh fish specials, Oysters, Steamers and more. They will even cook your fish; you catch they cook. You can't go wrong here. Worth checking out.
