Sands Waterfront - Pompano Beach

Beautiful location, very local bar feeling, eating was good, getting back...oh and dog friendly!

We waited for a waiter forever. After we had ordered our drinks and eating, we wanted to order a round drink, but no one came around. had to find our own utensils too. the waiter apologised and said they were very busy, but at least someone would have come to fill our water or give us silverware.

We had reservations for 17:00 clock and arrived about 15 minutes early. there was no hostess, so we asked a server where we should sit. she reacted with “choose everywhere” on the “restaurant” side away from the bar area. we chose a table and a few minutes after we sat, another couple did the same. five minutes later another server came by and greeted them, left menus and went away. he returned a few minutes later, took her drinks orders and went, clearly saw us at our table. Almost ten minutes ago, her drinks had been delivered, the server still ignored us, and my man had mentioned to one of the bartenders that we were still waiting where we were told to be sitting. after 25 minutes had docked a boat, another server joined him to take their order, and we went. we have been coming to pompano for several years and even had a very expensive dinner silvester this year next to the rusty hook. do not waste their time in sands harbor.

Sands harbor is a big fund exactly the right vibe casual, not a crazy scene like shooters dares to eat good food sewing good service. a little bouncy tonk old florida but on a high note. price too. the hostess was overwhelmed in the night when we arrived, but everything turned out great. Super apps try the tuna app, the guac and the boom garnel. book the south dock for pool side super directly at the water eating best ambiente. our server, nod, was great.

Went for the NYE 2023 experience. It was so fun! Food was amazing, good drinks and the service was great. Thank you Nick. You did a great job! The water front and fresh air was so perfect. We will be back for sure. Our only complaint would be how loud the music was. We did ask if it could be turned down, however, it couldn’t be done. We all had to talk so loud, my throat hurts today.
