Hunan - Ponca City

I just want to say I have been going to hunans for a long time even when they were back in the plaza. The older couple that used to own it were amazing couple. They were so welcoming. Anyway I have only been there a handful of times since they left and the food has been terrible and the place is not very clean the floors are sticky and the tables are so sticky that everything stuck to it cause of the furnish has been ruined. The whole place just gives me the creeps. The food was not fresh and I had to ask for some of the food to be put out on the bar. But I will say the waitress and the lady at register was amazing and caring. I hate giving bad reviews but this place used to be my favorite restaurant I would eat there 3 times a week to two weeks. Went today for lunch and the whole is not clean at all the floors were gross the ceiling tiles were gross above the food bar and tables are nasty. The food was dry and some was greasy.

Hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good, and sometimes it is not.

Had to come inside drive thru not open. That is my only complaint.

Today is the third time in 2 years I’ve tried to eat at this restaurant. The first two times the facility stank the food was stale and tasted disgusting. Today no noodles even after asking no egg rolls even after asking fried rice stale and hard. Everything that had been cooked in oil tasted like the oil was 6 months old. If I could give this a zero star I would.

A quick stop in for lunch with my team. It was their choice for lunch and to be honest it was good. The selections were many and they appeared to be fresh. My favorites were the General Tso Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Dumplings. The other options I chose were also fresh hot! I did choose the vanilla ice cream almond cookies at the end. Our server was attentive and removed our plates promptly. Although my travels might not take me back to Ponca City I must admit I do like a good buffet! If you’re in the mood for a Chinese Buffet this might be an option.
