I was pleasantly surprised! Although the building appeared small and uninviting, once inside, my expectations were exceeded. The hospitality was generous, the food was delicious, the service from Brian was exceptional, and the restaurant had a charming, cozy atmosphere. As new residents of Louisiana, we are excited to return. I intended to take pictures of the food to share online, but got too carried away enjoying it. Ha!

The service was outstanding and the food was quite good as well. Don't be deceived by the appearance of the restaurant from the outside. The dishes may be simple, but they are prepared with care.

Felt like coming over to a buddy 's house to get some food, would highly recommend it.The Jalapeño Bacon cheeseburger fully dressed really hit the spot, also had some of their fried mushrooms but ate them all before getting a picture. :)Place isn 't going to be visually appealing to some people I 'm sure but don 't judge a book by its cover. Good people, good food, that 's hard to find where corporations have practically taken over.

I have never had a negative experience at this restaurant, and the food is consistently excellent.
