Hope Cafe - Pondicherry

Last review was years ago, so we thought it's closed. It was open! Was a nice oasis in vibrant pondycherry. No tofu available, miso soup or salads--Had the sandwich combo, came with a sugary drink aka love juice, vegan option for sandwich was with mustard, surprisingly well taste. Lovely place, with wonderful artwork, and decor, responsive staff, and most of all, the food! Everything is lacto-vegetarian, no eggs, no fish, no meat. Excellent choices on the menu, and everything was prepared well. Delicious thin-crust pizza, lovely desserts. Loved their chocolate cheesecake!

The restaurant offers lovely salads and smoothie bowls as healthier options, along with some really good pizza!

This restaurant is a beautiful venue filled with stunning artwork and decorative touches. The staff is attentive and responsive, and best of all, the food is fantastic! The menu features a wide range of lacto-vegetarian options, with no eggs, fish, or meat. Everything is well-prepared, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious thin-crust pizza and the exquisite desserts. The chocolate cheesecake was especially delightful!

Situated on a serene and charming street in the heart of Pondicherry, this café provided a delightful spot for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The atmosphere is lovely, adorned with art both inside and outside the café. I opted for the vegan pizza, while my daughter chose the vegan Aglio e Olio pasta. We were so hungry that we dug in before we remembered to take any photos of our meals!
