4 Bocas - Ponferrada

Called in for lunch on a miserable wet day and had an excellent meal. The croque cod packages were filling and tasty whilst my wife had the chicken sharing platter and was overcome by it's size. Thankfully I was able to help her finish off as always. A couple of glasses of house red plus two coffees and we were very pleasantly surprised with a bill of less than 25 euros. Good friendly service and no rush to get us back out into the rain.

I'm in ponferrada as part of my 800km Camino, just for the evening. The whole town seems to have shockingly slow service but this place takes the biscuit. Advertising food on boards outside but clearly not actually serving any. To get a drink took four attempts with a dismissal from the waitress. And when you try to order she shouts aay in your face. It's the first time this trip that Gin tonica has not been understood. They really don't deserve all their custom. And the reason they have it is due to location and tables in the sun. Avoid this place and the slack, rude staff!

Drinking two sangrias and asked a smoked salmon with avocato salad we've paid 45€. The salad we received was the portion for a child of 5yo. This place you need to avoid!! Terrible and cheating customers!

Las tapas q comí estaban ricas, sin ser una barbaridad, ricas, buena materia prima, la ubicación es estupenda en una plaza con una basílica preciosa al lado y pegada a la calle del Reloj.

La comida está rica aunque la parrilla no volvería a pedirla por qué es mucha comida y no me precio buenísima. Tienen el mejor café de Ponferrada con diferencia y el trato del personal es inigualable. Volvemos seguro.
