La Casona - Ponferrada

The restaurant is housed in a large stone house, next to the town's church. Classy decoration, excellent service, and delicious food. And, remarkable, we paid €17.50 per person, which is nearly the same you pay for a menu in less deserving places. I highly recommend it, and will certainly go back. All was very good, but desserts were heavenly. Try coffee custard with chocolate ice cream and vanilla ice cream with caramelized chestnuts. Unbelievable.

We have been invited for a business Lunch as usual we went rather late at 14 in Spain very good decorated excellent service we ate fish and meat all very good only desert was poor but generallyvery good would go again

Nice place and with an exceptional quality of food, all the friends take one of the weekend tasting menus, watered with a spectacular need, very close and very smiling treatment, we will return.
