We come here for many years as my parents have a house nearby. The food is always lovely and the ambiance is great as well. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful area of a quiet town. If you are in the area, make sure you’ll visit this restaurant for a nice lunch or diner!
We visited for our last-night-of-our-vacation and our 15th Wedding Anniversary celebration. The food was wonderful (we had the €35 all-inclusive Menu Normande), the service was brilliant, the setting was delightful, as is the little village of Saint-Siméon. If we 're ever back this way, we will return.
Food, ingredients, cleanliness, presentation, service... all was excellent! And this quality is consistent: this was the third time I really enjoyed my meal at the Auberge.
We booked our table and despite them only having a few bookings, the restaurant ended up full, so we recommend to book. We decided to have the Saint Simeon menu at €49 each which included an aperitif, amuse buche, starter, sorbet, main, cheese board, desert and coffee and a bottle of wine. The steak was char cooked in front of us over the fire in the restaurant. The scallops in fennel sauce were lovely as was the apple crisp pudding. Recommended, but go with an empty stomach if you decide to have this menu. Excellent service despite there being only 2 persons serving. Thank you
