Du Lac - Pont-et-Massène

I have to say this is a fantastic restaurant. We went there with 7 friends and a little one. We received excellent service and amazing food. The quality and skilled cooking was stunning. We sat under vines on the terrace on a gloriously hot summer night. This was one of those nights we will all recall with affection for years to come. GO THERE.

We came for lunch sat on the terrace lovely set lunch menu and children catered for. It's lovely to see the restaurant using there outside space as many of the French do not use there gardens. We will be back again. Service excellent too.

We took the precaution of booking after turning up on a Monday at noon and being told it was full (I think they limit numbers because there was only one table of two occupied inside). All four of us had the set menu, which was excellent from start to finish (pont l'eveque in breadcrumbs followed by pork with beluga wheat risotto, and raspberry soufflé dessert). Half a carafe of table wine was slightly pricey at 14€ but the rest was great value. Service professional and smiling, we never felt rushed. Going back as soon as possible!

The two brothers found the point of balance and success, the establishment found its cruising speed and serenity. after a difficult period, on the other hand, their talent and courage both cooks are rewarded and passed a course. the value ratio is exceptional, and not to mention finance the content of each plate is remarkable. this day, among other things, snail cassole with an original and tasteful scaffolding, perfect egg bearing its title, cooked bar net and especially seasoned with justness and originality, dessert at the top with a mango cake worthy of a pastry dessert relay that could appear in the radius of one of these establishments without difficulty. with higher rates, some customers shouted: oh, genius!

A search for an open restaurant for lunch Tuesday at noon in the region of the trout in the attic, our default choice, many were not open, focused on the betting of gourmets.
