Several guides recommended a tosca as the best in the city. it was good, but a terra was even better.
In a fancy-ish hotel. There is a small table with a few dedicated GF items including sliced white bread, a small wrapped baguette, and plain cereal. There are many other GF options like meats, cheeses, eggs, fresh fruit and many jams and spreads. It’s all served buffet style, so there’s a risk for cross contamination
This is the hotel Azor’s restaurant. We stayed at the hotel (recommend) and ate breakfast here every day. They have an omelette bar, GF, baguettes, bacon, fruits, meats, even local milk kefir. For lunch, we had the chicken with roasted vegetables with a side of house-made sweet potato chips. They were the thinnest-sliced sweet potatoes I’ve ever seen a a real highlight. The coffee and tea are excellent, as is the service. Top notch and friendly. They are rightfully proud of products produced locally on the island. The local cheese is worth seeking out. They made great accommodations for my celiac and my wife’s lactose intolerance. Several tour guides recommended A Tosca as the best in town. It was good but A Terra was even better.
