Had the “bife na pedra”, safe choice. With salad.The waiter told me right away that for desert it would be complicated, that the fruit salad was my only choice. Turns out it was pure delight! 5 stars for the waiter Roberto Leal. :

Heard about this place from a local tour guide. Well, it did not disappoint. Went around 7 pm on a Tuesday night and it was quite busy but got a table quick with no reservation. 30 minutes later no seats left. Would recommend a reservation for sure as we got lucky. The staff were fun, friendly and patient with us tourists lol. We were served a plate on the table like appetizer and not told there was a charge for it so our bad, we should have asked I guess. Ordered a pot of mussels each......bad decision. The portions were so large that one pot would have been enough and the size of the mussels were out of this world. Delicious food and lively good energy kind of local family restaurant. Not a quiet romantic place but would highly recommend the food and experience.

Emanuel provided excellent service and attention to detail. He explained the difference types of ports to drink before and after dinner. The entrées were delicious and very filling. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great down to earth family and or couple, atmosphere, beautiful view, friendly staff, own parking space, great tasting food, every dish we tried tasted really good. Price is good for the amount of food. Definitely going back to try different dishes, I'm sure it won't disappoint. Really good authentic portuguese (Azorean) food.

Sou muito exigente com restaurante, mas este é muito bom. A configuração do restaurante é muito melhor do que as fotos em sua página da web. Espaço amplo e bem organizado. As porções de comida são generosas e muito saborosas com ingredientes frescos. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e oportunos. Altamente recomendado
