Courtepaille Pontarlier

Quelle Deception! Je continue maintenant en Anglais afin de mieux pouvoir m' exprimer. What a dreadful experience, we use to visit Courtepaille since over 25 years during our travels through France and haven't the last 3 years due to different reasons. With the memory of the past i.e. fresh baguette, salade de bienvenue, bonne moutarde artisanale, prestation viticole sympatique. Coutepaille now; Stained bread rolls probably cooked hours in advance, cold chips full of fat, cold plates, uninterested service crew members; chatting together seems more important. I totally understand that the price do need to increase but why dumping your quality so drastically? Shame, you have lost many clients and of course I will contact your head office , this is not anymore a simple restaurant experience any more but a copy of fast food badly executed.

I went there with my kids and their friends making us 5 in total. The service was fast and good, our food arrived promptly after request with a great free salad to start on. My steak was cooked very well and the chips were crispy and tasty which goes with all of our meals. My children had a set menu which came with all the necessary aspects of a perfect lunch. Starter, main, dessert and a drink. The ambience was great even for a lunch surprisingly. The only complaint I could make is that the new menu was quite confusing at first sight.

Same kind of food of the nearby Buffalo Gril. In my opinion have a better food than the Buffalo Bill, specially the bread. Use to be full in the weekends for the lunch, so, arrive early or you will wait.

I normally don't go to restaurants that are part of a big commercial chain but it was poring rain and we were starving. Food was average quality towards poor. But... the girl serving us was incredibly friendly and helpful!

Pour quelqu'un qui veut manger un bon bout de viande grillé ...le poissons est pas mal aussi en papillotes ...de temps en temps on aime bien y aller manger ...le restaurant est propre le maître d'hôtel toujours au top...peut être revoir la quantité des coupes de glaces qui pour moi reste du vol 7€ pour un café liégeois deux petites boules ça craint ...mais dans l'ensemble c'est pas mal ...
