Petiscas - Ponte de Lima

Small restaurant with a beautiful terrace on a quiet place and in the shade (ideal during the hot summer.) it is on the other side of the river compared also the lively city center. So if you are looking for a nice quiet place to eat in ponte de lima, this is the place. it has traditional, regional dishes and a good wine card. we have tiras de porco with kartoffels and cabbage. the pork is grilled over fire and that's it. it is simple, but very well done. it shows the quality of the ingredient and it is simply very good. we also had melone with presunto as starter and half a bottle of wine (the wee was on the expensive side of their menu). for two people we paid €46. it is a good value for money. I really enjoyed my lunch and I strongly recommend.

Beautiful location, but very bad service from an rude and creepy waiter. the food was good, but for the price I expected more portioning. it's expensive. I will not go back because it was not a pleasant experience.

Great food! we were a party of 6 and we ordered the fried sardines to begin the mushrooms, mush, bbq octopus and mixed salate. for the net we ordered the black and the calf meat. the portions were huge that there was enough to be divided between us 6 and still too much that we have skipped dessert, except the pfirsich in wein. as we wanted to eat another round good, the next day we went back to dinner again and reordered every starter (and two plates from each) except the muscheln and bbq octopus. instead we ordered mosquitoes (two plates) and otopus in the vinaiigrette dressing. this time we ordered the chicken salad. every single dish was so good that I wish petiscas is my neighboring restaurant. we skipped the head and ordered desserts. we had the mango mousse, poach birne, limette and wodka ice cream, cream browle, house special and condensed milk. each dessert was super good except the condensed milk. it was too sweet and easy on itself. but when it was added to the lime and wodka ice cream, it was so good. If I ever come back here, I will definitely go back to the restaurant. not only great and friendly service, also other mozens were friendly.

Disappointing. Having visited this restaurant a few years ago while on holiday and having lovely meal were so disappointed with our second visit. Three of us ordered Cabrito, initially the waiter said they didn’t have it so started looking for a second choice and then the waiter came back to they did have it. When it came it was probably a one person portion for three people. As there was no children’s menu we ordered a steak for them to share. This was served last, not a great idea with kids) no effort to divide it. In summary a second rate meal and second rate service

We enjoyed our food very much. Padron peppers were excellent, the cheese and the bread were great, the service was very good. Great place for meat lovers (I recommend the goat, falls off the bone).
