Big Nick's Coney Island - Pontiac

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast! The grits are exceptional. They serve a tasty, hot breakfast promptly, and the service is friendly, thanks to a lovely waitress. It’s a cozy little diner hidden off the main road, but it’s definitely worth checking out.

I had a really disappointing experience with the customer service at this restaurant. When I mentioned that my phone battery was dead, the staff seemed unwilling to assist me. I asked if I could charge my phone for just a moment to use tap to pay for my meal, but the staff member acted like he was hesitant to let me use their electricity. After my food began to be prepared, my phone turned on briefly, but he still wouldn't let me charge it. He even suggested that I leave and come back, but since I was jogging and far from that area, I chose not to eat there. To make matters worse, I also noticed roaches, which was quite off-putting.

The food is good and the owner is friendly. The place is small but the atmosphere isn't bad. I usually get breakfast to go. There is an additional credit card fee I believe 3% for debit or credit card payments. You may wanna pay with cash.

Great spot in Pontiac, a nice atmosphere and amazing service. Our waitress Kiana was so welcoming and sweet. She made great recommendations and made sure we were looked after. Tried the coney dog and the Nick's chicken wrap. Give it a try.
